• Gather and analyze account information and make underwriting recommendations and decisions on renewal business
• Contribute to differentiated Customer Retention
• Develop and establish relationships with brokers
• Develop customer-centric renewal strategies that align with the company’s financial goals
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to an engaging work environment
• Handle individual risk inquiries/correspondence from brokers and make appropriate decisions
• Monitor booking, retention, account rounding and renewal change accuracy
• Contribute to projects as required to improve the business and continually develop personal skills

• University degree and/or equivalent insurance-related education and experience
• Bilingualism in French and English is required
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of property and casualty underwriting experience is required
• Superior marketing ability, combined with excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to follow-up independently
• High level of responsiveness and efficiency when working with stakeholders
• Demonstrated track record of customer service orientation and proven ability to foster strong business relationships
• Ability to respond as a team player, in a multi-task environment
• High degree of technical knowledge attained in current job
• Large regional broker relationship management considered an asset
• CIP or CRM designation or completed CIP/CRM courses considered to be an asset
